Pacing Agency is a marketing agency led by directors Ben Power and Cameron Bowen, helping small and growing businesses get more from their paid advertising and creative strategy.

Ben has been working for himself for seven years, moving from freelancer to sole trader and now to running a limited company alongside Cameron, with Digital Accountant supporting the business at every stage of that growth.

We asked Ben a few questions about his experience working with Digital Accountant and how we support his business.

• Was Digital Accountant your first accountant, or had you worked with another accountant before?

  Yes, they were my first accountant. I’ve been working for myself for 7 years, and they’ve supported me since the start of 2024, while I was still a sole trader, before I set up the company.

• What made you decide it was time to get an accountant?

  I realised it was taking up too much of my time and causing too much stress. Learning to trust experts was an important part of my professional development.

• Was there anything you were unsure or worried about before hiring one?

  Whether everything would actually get done properly. And the cost.

• How did you first come across Digital Accountant?

  I found some of Rita’s videos on YouTube. Really useful, which is how I came across Digital Accountant.

• How do you normally communicate with your accountant?

  Email, and a call when we need one.

• What’s a recent question or problem your accountant helped you with?

  They’ve been fantastic helping me move from sole trader to running an Ltd, and all the complications that came with that.

• If another business owner asked what working with Digital Accountant is actually like, what would you tell them?

  Amazing accountants for our small (growing) business.
